Rotors of the Rockies is Colorado’s most renowned helicopter flight school. Rotors offers flight training on a variety of levels, from private to certified flight instructor and the full range of instrument training. Most flight training is done in Schweizer 300C helicopters, the safest, most reliable piston helicopter available. Schweizers are uniquely suited to Colorado's high altitude. We follow a strict maintenance schedule, and we have an open-book maintenance policy. Since opening our doors in 2001, Rotors has trained more than 250 students, and has logged more than 20,000 flight hours. Rotors pilots have flown search and rescue flights, dozens of photographers and film crews, hundreds of sightseers, former Governor Owens, Congressmen, and NASCAR drivers.
